Product Detail
Electric Heating Reactor: Atmospheric Heating Without Steam Infrastructure
The atmospheric electric heating reactor heats rapidly, tolerates high temperature, resists corrosion and stays hygienic, with no environmental pollution. It needs no boiler, runs automatically and is simple to operate at a moderate price. It is widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, and the material in contact with the product is 304 stainless steel.

How the heating works
Electric heating rods warm the thermal oil inside the jacket. Once the oil reaches the required temperature, a temperature controller switches the heating rods on and off to hold the set point, so the batch is kept at temperature without manual intervention.
Typical processes
The reactor carries out processes such as sulfurization, nitration, hydrogenation, alkylation, polymerization and condensation, where thorough mixing of the reacting materials is the precondition. Heating, cooling, liquid-liquid extraction and gas absorption all rely on the agitation system, and the unit can also be designed with an external coil to the customer’s specification.

Frequently asked questions
What is the vessel made of?
The material in contact with the product is 304 stainless steel.
Does it need a boiler or steam line?
No. Heating is fully electric through rods in a thermal-oil jacket, which is why the reactor suits plants without steam infrastructure.
How is the temperature controlled?
A temperature controller switches the heating rods to hold the set temperature automatically.
Can the reactor be customized?
Yes. The unit can be designed with an external coil to the customer’s requirements, and agitation and openings are arranged to your process.
